7 CNY branches renovated in Beacon Bank multimillion-dollar project

UTICA, New York, Sept. 30, 2026 — Beacon Bank has completed a multimillion-dollar branch renovation project that included seven locations across Central New York and the Mohawk Valley as part of its commitment to consistently enhance its banking experience.

“Our branches are our relationship hubs, and we’re committed to continue investing in an elevated client experience by creating modern, welcoming spaces where they can receive personalized guidance from bankers with industry-leading expertise,” said James J. Morris IV, president of Beacon Bank in Central New York and the Mohawk Valley.

The local branches that were renovated are in Ilion, New Hartford (2), Rome (2), West Winfield and Utica.

“While digital tools make banking easier and more accessible, our branches continue to play a vital role by connecting clients with experienced bankers who can help them navigate important financial decisions,” Morris said.

The entire project included 24 locations throughout New York and Massachusetts. It modernized and brightened interiors, enhanced functionality and updated interior and exterior signage. Thanks to careful planning and coordination, all renovations were completed on time, on budget and with minimal disruption to daily operations.

In all, eight of Beacon Bank’s more than 145 branches are in Central New York and the Mohawk Valley. They are in Ilion, New Hartford (2), Rome (2), West Winfield, Whitesboro and Utica.
